LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
ISG not only encourages its employees to further their education, it provides assistance for its employees to share
their knowledge and skill-set within the industry. Some of our more technically advanced and skilled employees can be
regularly seen teaching courses at local colleges and universities.
Our commitment to developing people has made ISG what it is today. This is a commitment that starts the very second you
walk through the door and lasts as long as you stay with ISG.
Induction
On joining, each new member of the team is provided with an intensive induction program relevant to their part of the
business. These programs are delivered to ensure that new people feel comfortable when first dealing with customers and peers.
The programs cover a wide range of customer service skills, plus technical and systems knowledge.
On-going training
Regular on-the-job coaching takes place to ensure that everyone is kept up-to-date and provides the high level of
service that our customers expect. We also encourage our people to keep developing their knowledge in specific areas
as well as learning new skills. A wide range of learning resources is provided onsite, such as books,
computer-based training packages and videos.
Qualifications
We're more than willing to discuss further education sponsorship for relevant qualifications, either academic or
vocational. For example, any technical certification program relevant to the employee's position or any desired position
within ISG or to help ISG expand its knowledge base.
Management development
We are also committed to providing management development opportunities that meet the needs of individuals, teams and
business objectives, either via a suite of generic courses to match management competencies or a bespoke option to suit
specific requirements.
